Underwriter, Multinational

JOB DESCRIPTION As a key member of the Chubb Multinational team, the Underwriter will contribute to the achievement of regional profitability and production results through the growth, development, and underwriting of international casualty programs for U.S. multinational companies and organizations. This position is responsible for establishing and cultivating business relationships with brokers, clients, and other relevant spheres of influence within the assigned territory to ensure a continuous flow of new business opportunities while representing all Multinational segments and products. RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development & Broker Management - Develop personal and business relationships with P&C brokers and producers to generate new account opportunities for the International Casualty division of Chubb Multinational. Territory Management - Implement the sales and marketing plan for the assigned territory, ensuring broker calls and stewardship meetings are effectively scheduled and conducted to drive new business and retain existing accounts. Account Targeting - Maintain current knowledge of the sales territory and broker-controlled business. Understand existing and historic Chubb relationships to develop a prospect list of new business opportunities. Quote to Win - Review new business submissions to understand the nature of the international casualty risk and the incumbent's current offering. Use this analysis to produce and deliver competitive quotes that highlight Chubb's multinational capabilities, expertise, and service. Maintain and Grow Relationships - Work closely with brokers and clients to understand and respond to changing needs driven by market expansion, acquisitions, or geographic and program changes. Risk Management - Maintain a profitable renewal book by understanding the operations, deal structures, and requirements of clients, and respond promptly to service requests. Innovative Solutions - Identify opportunities to enhance the Casualty & Property CMP process with innovative solutions. QUALIFICATIONS College degree or equivalent experience.
