Overview We are seeking an experienced Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases of Florida. This role involves leading coordination efforts across multiple sites and study groups, managing subject consenting and blood draws, maintaining accurate study logs, supporting protocol development and IRB submissions, and administering pre-post screenings.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who can independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. A strong commitment to exceptional participant care, privacy, and creating a positive, welcoming environment for research participants is essential. Excellent scientific, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Office Location Boca Raton, Florida. Please note that this is a HYBRID role. Candidates should expect to come into the office about 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Lead coordination for multiple study groups and sites, including participant management such as consenting, scheduling, and overseeing study procedures.

Manage remote specimen collection processes with external partners and internal teams.

Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize communication and data handling across sites.

Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.

Support accurate data collection and contribute to scientific documentation including reports, abstracts, and presentations.

Maintain professional and timely communication with participants and team members to facilitate study activities.

Assist with administrative tasks.

Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain data security standards.

Collect blood samples (via venipuncture and finger stick) from research participants and process them in the laboratory.

Administering pre/post verbal and written screenings to participants.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or health-related field.

2-5 years of coordination experience, with a track record of increasing responsibility.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a research related field.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong understanding of privacy regulations and research compliance.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organized with strong time management abilities.

Comfortable in a hybrid work environment.

Fluent in English.

Preferred

Experience with multi-site research projects and international collaboration.

Experience in blood draw procedures preferred; formal certification is a plus.

Background in clinical research with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases.
