Role Overview: Possibility in Your Hands Join Amcor as an

Extrusion Assistant

and play a key role in supporting the production of high‑quality flexible packaging. In this role, you'll assist machine operators with the setup and operation of

Coater or Blown Film lines , ensuring smooth production flow and consistent product quality. Your contributions will help Amcor deliver innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to customers worldwide.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 straight night shift (6:55 p.m.–7:10 a.m.)

Work 3‑4 days per week with schedules provided a full calendar year in advance

Compensation & Benefits: Value, Recognized

Pay:

$21.06–$24.02/hour + $0.50/night shift premium

Overtime:

1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

401(k):

Dollar‑for‑dollar match up to 8%

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked What You'll Do:

Assist operators in all aspects of Coater or Blown Film line operation, including change‑overs, start‑ups, running, and shut‑downs

Order and maintain resin boxes to ensure a proper, steady supply for Coater or Blown Film machines

Package mill rolls, weigh and haul scrap

Support troubleshooting, material handling, and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Comply with all

initiatives

Operate Coater or Blown Film machines when an operator is absent or on vacation (once qualified)

Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

What We Want From You: Lead the Pack Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous manufacturing experience a plus, but not required

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation

Computer literacy and ability to follow production instructions

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Reliable attendance and commitment to working 12‑hour shifts

Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and working in a fast‑paced environment

Physical Requirements

Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work on and around machinery for extended periods

Perform tasks in a fast‑paced production environment
