Spherion Staffing is looking for an onsite recruiter for a customer located on the eastside of Indianapolis. The Onsite Staffing recruiter is responsible for the day‑to‑day recruitment and management of our temporary and temp‑to‑hire workforce at a key client’s facility. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, employee relations, and client communication. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of staffing and human resources. Work Schedule & Compensation
Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm, $45,000‑$50,000 / year Requirements
Recruiting experience preferred. Previous experience in staffing, human resources, or a similar role. Bachelor’s degree. 0–1 years of experience. Must be flexible. Responsibilities
Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for all on‑site temporary employees; address and resolve employee inquiries, concerns, and performance issues in a timely and professional manner; conduct regular check‑ins with employees to ensure a positive work experience. Client Communication: Maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with the client’s management team; provide regular updates on employee performance, attendance, and any other relevant issues; act as a liaison between the client and our corporate office. Administrative & Operational Duties: Manage timekeeping, attendance tracking, and reporting; assist with new‑hire onboarding and orientation; ensure all temporary employees are compliant with company policies and safety procedures. Recruitment & Placement Support: Collaborate with the recruiting team to understand client needs and ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates; assist in the screening and placement process as needed. Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar HR software.
