Talent Acquisition Specialist The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent through recruitment plans to extending offers and onboarding for positions at all levels and areas of the credit union.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills.

Identify and source appropriate candidates and fill open positions.

Research, identify and recommend best practices for full cycle recruitment function, including alternative staffing strategies.

Maintain and present HR recruiting metrics.

Review and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews/screensings as needed, refer candidates to hiring managers, and participate in applicant interviews as needed.

Provide guidance, coaching training, and reference information/materials to hiring managers in preparation for applicant interviews.

Coordinate participation in various job fairs and may be required to make presentations.

Respond to requests for specific application procedures, company and organization information, and general job opportunities on a regular basis.

Arrange travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants, and perform reference checks and employment verification as needed.

Additional duties include execution and coordination of the onboarding and orientation process with new employees as needed.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Must have minimum 3-years of full-cycle recruiting experience; financial services industry experience is a must.

Able to attract candidates using various sources, such as social media networks, employee referrals, name generation, direct sourcing, and other internet tools.

Demonstrated capability in recruiting for a wide variety of roles and levels in multiple functions.

Strong capability in talent scouting, direct sourcing of candidates, assessing, hiring, and managing talent, as well as developing a high-performing, diverse and sustainable talent pipeline.

An intuitive and perceptive person who can interact with individuals at all levels.

Has strong written and verbal communications with solid presentation skills.

Experience with ADP or other Applicant Tracking Systems.

DOE base salary to $95K.
