About the Client:

Role Overview:
The Long/Short Equity Analyst will focus on Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) companies, performing detailed fundamental research, financial modeling, and idea generation. The analyst will support portfolio managers in identifying long and short investment opportunities and contributing directly to portfolio decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis and valuation of TMT companies.
Generate actionable long and short investment ideas.
Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments.
Collaborate with portfolio managers on portfolio construction and trade execution.
Prepare investment memos and present research findings to the team.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of equity research experience, preferably in TMT.
Buyside experience is needed!
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to generate independent investment insights.
