Overview
The Analyst, Shareholder Reporting, Real Estate Financial Statements Production role is a dedicated position within Fidelity that contributes on a developing operational team to deliver accurate, timely financial reports for real estate funds, including quarterly/annual reporting and regulatory filings. Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, GAAP compliance, and other relevant accounting standards. Deliver quarterly and annual reporting for core real estate funds established as REITs; oversee Securities Exchange Act of 1934 reporting (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and SOX 404 compliance. Work with the Direct Real Estate Finance Team, Alternative Accounting, and external auditors to oversee quarterly and annual financials, regulatory filings, and the audit cycle. Engage with Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) and collaborate with business partners in Direct Real Estate Investment, Finance, Asset Management, Treasurer’s Office, Compliance, Risk & Business Operations to identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of financial services experience in real estate products and public company financial reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other reporting as needed). Knowledge of real estate reporting and US GAAP; proficiency in accounting and reporting standards. Experience with Yardi accounting software (preferred). Ability to work in an operations-focused, fast-paced team environment; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation capability. Proficiency in PC software (MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills and ability to translate accounting data into financial statement presentation. Note:
