With extensive experience managing Commercial Lines portfolios, the Commercial Lines Account Manager will oversee day‑to‑day client service for an assigned book of business. The focus is on ensuring accurate system records, client communication, and process adherence while collaborating with Producers or Account Executives to drive renewal strategy and business development.

Your Impact

Partner with Producers or Account Executives to develop renewal strategy, including market selection, claims reviews, and exposure gathering.

Manage renewal book of business: create submissions, support placement process, and produce proposals and binding documents.

Draft exposure information, loss exhibits, and proposals; obtain loss runs or policy documentation directly from carrier websites.

Serve as primary point of contact for daily client inquiries or changes directed by Producers/Account Executives.

Collaborate with Associate Account Manager or third‑party vendors to issue certificates, invoices, policy and endorsement checks, and audits.

Submit and manage carrier changes per client requests and update system records to reflect all interactions and documentation.

Process monthly, quarterly, or annual audits and reports, and handle straightforward contract reviews.

Manage claims: instruct clients on loss notice reporting to carriers and support ongoing large‑claims administration.

Carrier & Wholesaler Relationships

Align RSC with partner carriers and intermediaries to place renewals in ideal markets.

Implement the “Fewer & Stronger” market consolidation initiative, leveraging RSC buying power for optimal client terms.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.

Solid knowledge of Property & Casualty business and carrier operations.

Strong ability to follow processes and procedural guidance.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Holding of necessary insurance licenses as required by the company.
