DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITITES
Create highly detailed, colored and black and white, medical illustrations for medical trauma course curriculum, guidebooks, slide sets, and note-taking devices.
Create simulation models as needed for teaching trauma care.
Collaborate with the medical illustrator at the Uniformed Services University as needed.
Other duties assigned by Supervisor
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS Masters Degree - Medical Illustration
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Good working knowledge of relevant science to include biology, chemistry, genetics, gross anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy, pathology, and physiology.
Digital skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe CC suite, Autodesk Fusion 360, Savage Interactive Procreate and Redshift.
Superior photography skills.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Additional digital skills with software such as Maxon Cinema 4D, Pixologic Zbrush and Osirix/Horos and/or Chimera are desirable.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE Must be a U.S. Citizen
