RF Test Technician Responsibilities
Collaborate with product design engineers and operations teams to support product development and testing processes.
Identify, recommend, and deploy appropriate test resources, methodologies, and technologies.
Assemble test circuits to measure and analyze electrical parameters of RF products.
Conduct tests, troubleshoot, update, and repair printed circuit boards using test stations, soldering tools, and related equipment.
Assist in the assembly and functional testing of RF components during the manufacturing phase.
Apply basic statistical tools (e.g., charts, histograms, cause-and-effect diagrams) to evaluate electrical test data, detect variability, and contribute to problem-resolution processes.
Requirements
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, trade school certification, or equivalent technical training. Open to recent grads that have experience in RF testing and basic manufacturing assembly.
Proficiency in configuring electrical test instruments to measure specified parameters with precision and accuracy.
Expertise in creating advanced test setups, including integration of inputs, outputs, and measurement instruments.
Solid understanding of RF principles with experience in tuning and troubleshooting systems operating at frequencies of up to 6GHz.
Skilled in debugging circuits and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment, such as Spectrum and Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Signal Generators, and Power Supplies.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Integration Components, Electronic Components, Microsoft Exchange, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team-oriented environments.
Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and proficiency in computer tools.
