Basic Qualifications To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

8+ years of professional experience

Prior professional experience with Earned Value Management

Prior professional experience working with suppliers to execute to a baseline

Understanding of and experience negotiating and securing funding for complex long‑term agreements

You will need to be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, and successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Please note: No clearance is required to apply but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start. Must be open to occasional travel approximately ~30% to support Program and/or Supplier visits.

The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program is seeking a high potential and high‑performing leader with relevant Program Management experience and demonstrated ability to collaborate proactively within diverse teams to support program performance execution excellence. FBM develops, designs, produces, maintains, and replenishes submarine‑launched ballistic missiles capable of flying more than 4,000 nautical miles with a full payload.

This role will offer you the following daily challenges: This position holds procurement management and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within the established authority.

You will perform subcontract program management duties in support of the program, including:

Serve as Supply Chain Program Capture Manager on program pursuits

Develop material and subcontract management strategy

Create Subcontract Management Plan

Manage State of work development

Manage Request for Proposal release

Lead major subcontract strategy and execution

Monitor and manage subcontract placement per program Integrated Master Schedule

Monitor and manage submissions to Engineering

Perform Supply Chain Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for assigned program(s)

Represent Supply Chain Management at CAM reviews

Manage ECO impacts to material cost and program schedule (serve as POC for Engineering CCB)

Negotiate with Program Management to ensure adequate budget is provided

Ensure labor budgets are properly phased through program lifecycle

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in either Denver, CO, or Titusville, FL, and be expected to work in the office.

Desired skills

10+ years of professional experience

Prior professional experience working LE and LE2 FBM Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types

In‑depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios

Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines

Experience with long‑form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience

Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment and work well under pressure

Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative

Prior professional experience with TVC Suppliers and Supply Chain

Ability to drive actions and results/resolution of contractual/technical issues and successful outcomes through teamwork

Implement continuous improvement leading to improved team and supplier performance

Familiarity with Fleet the Ballistic Missile program, or other Missile/Weapon System programs

Familiarity with the Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) customer organization

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the customer

Strong business acumen with a proven record of successful performance with focus on mission success, with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrated skills to drive culture change supporting enterprise initiatives (i.e., hardware communciation and insertion into programs, shift to “we vs. me” behaviors)

Must be able to resolve complex problems in a fast‑paced environment

Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management

Ability to be flexible and accept change

Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

National Pay Statement The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. This salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short‑Term Disability, Long‑Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non‑represented full‑time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full‑time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. This salary information is a general guideline only.
