Senior Data Engineer
Responsible for working with Solution Architects and business area teams to build detailed technical design and specification documents that meet business needs, considering capabilities, risks, and system dependencies regarding ETL integrations. Executes the build, test, and deployment of full‑lifecycle solutions for Application Integration & Data Analytics (data integration) for ETL solutions. Builds implementation plans, coordinates deployment with platform teams, ensures appropriate development best practices, and works on multiple concurrent projects, meeting business expectations, influencing outcomes, and maintaining stated timelines. Supports existing ETL integrations, triages and troubleshoots alongside Level 1 support teams, codes and deploys fixes as needed, and mentors/coaches less experienced engineers. Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field and 5 years of related (progressive, post‑baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 24 months of demonstrated experience with each of the following: Developing ETL flows per design specifications using Informatica Power Center Designer 10.4, Workflow Manager, and Netezza and Snowflake databases to extract and load data; Gathering requirements to perform requirement analysis, design, development, and system testing, and creating detailed design Confluence pages; Creating reusable components and PL/SQL stored procedures to improve reusability and reduce turnaround time, and scheduling and monitoring ETL flows using Tidal jobs; Creating unit test cases, testing developed code, and ensuring that output is as per given requirements by scheduling workflows and validating data using SQL scripts in Snowflake / Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; Resolving bugs in JIRA during SIT and User testing cycles to find root cause.
