As a Landscape Designer and Estimator, you’ll combine your creative eye for design with your technical skills in estimating to develop custom landscape plans and accurate project proposals. This is a key role that bridges design, sales, and project management — perfect for someone who enjoys both creativity and precision. What You’ll Do
Meet with clients to discuss goals, budget, and vision for their outdoor spaces. Create detailed landscape designs and plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software. Develop material lists, takeoffs, and cost estimates for proposed projects. Prepare professional design presentations and client proposals. Collaborate with the field and operations teams to ensure design accuracy during installation. Source materials, coordinate with vendors, and maintain pricing databases. Stay updated on current trends, materials, and sustainable landscape practices. What We’re Looking For
Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in Landscape Design, Horticulture, or Construction Management. Experience: 3+ years in landscape design, estimating, or project coordination. Skills
Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools Strong understanding of plants, hardscapes, and construction techniques Excellent communication and client presentation skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects Bonus: Experience with LMN, Aspire, or other estimating/project management software.
