Role Overview As our Brand Designer, you’ll shape how WedgeHR looks, feels, and shows up in the world. You’ll design experiences that help people understand, believe in, and connect with our brand - from the website and campaigns to the content we share every day.
This is a hybrid role: part brand designer, part marketing storyteller, part systems thinker. You’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and leadership to create the visual identity and assets that drive our next stage of growth.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Travel: Quarterly travel required
Core Responsibilities Brand & Visual Identity
Evolve and maintain WedgeHR’s brand system - making sure everything from the website to campaigns feels cohesive, modern, and human
Translate brand messaging into visuals that connect with HR leaders, franchise owners, and hiring teams
Partner with stakeholders to bring clarity and consistency to every touchpoint
Website & Digital Design
Own the WedgeHR website experience - designing, updating, and refining pages that turn visitors into leads and signups
Collaborate with growth and product teams to optimize layout, visuals, and performance
Keep the website fresh with campaign updates, case studies, and product storytelling
Campaigns & Marketing Materials
Create and execute visual assets for digital campaigns, email, social, and paid ads
Design one-pagers, decks, and trade show materials that communicate value clearly
Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Lead to align campaign visuals with messaging and strategy
Content & Storytelling
Bring stories to life visually - from blog illustrations to social graphics to launch visuals
Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all creative output
Help transform complex ideas into visuals that are simple, accessible, and emotionally resonant
Systems & Collaboration
Manage and evolve WedgeHR’s visual library, templates, and design system
Collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure brand consistency
Work cross-functionally to deliver creative that’s on time, on brand, and drives measurable results
Ideal Background
5–7 years of experience in brand, marketing, or web design, ideally at a SaaS or HR tech company
Skilled in Figma and Webflow
Experience balancing creative design with marketing performance goals
Understands how design impacts growth, storytelling, and conversion
Comfortable working autonomously - from concept to launch
A strong eye for detail, typography, and clean, thoughtful design
