Corewell Health's Women’s Health Service Line is expanding and seeks to add an OB / GYN hospitalist physician to our growing Core Faculty team at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI!
Enjoy working 12‑hour inpatient shifts with flexibility on the number of shifts per month.
Collaborative, physician‑lead shift scheduling.

A collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers, including certified nurse midwives, working at one of the highest volume labor and delivery units in the country.
Working alongside a midwife and core faculty physician, as well as a robust MFM team, and nocturnist physicians.
This service supports our academic OB service, uncovered OB and GYN patients, coverage for MFM patients, and night coverage for a community‑based clinic, as well as the outpatient residency practice.
Our Core Faculty team works in a professional environment and provides primary teaching of residents and medical students.
Supervision of residents / medical students is a key component to this job and there is an active teaching component involved.

Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree.
LIC-Physician (MD) – State of Michigan (upon hire required).
LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) – State of Michigan (upon hire required).
CRT-DEA Registration – State of Michigan (upon hire required).
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association (120 days required or)
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross (120 days required).
CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA American Heart Association (required by specialty or stress test performed, 120 days required).
Butterworth Hospital Located on the “medical mile,” Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with a full complement of adult medical and surgical subspecialists.
It offers a full‑service Level IV NICU and is connected to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, which provides world‑renowned pediatric subspecialty programs.
It is the flagship hospital for Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals, which includes Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center and Lemmen‑Holton Cancer Pavilion.
