Integrity Locums
Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- 4 or 5 days per week
- 1-2 days at 1st location (once acclimated)
- 3-4 days at 2nd location
- Full-Time, Long-term need anticipated for 6 to 12 months
- Hours:
- 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - unpaid lunch
- 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Clinical Details:
- Provides office-based pain management services to new and established patients (adults), including:
- medication management, medical cannabis certification, education/counseling, and monitoring of medication compliance, minor procedures and referrals for interventions (e.g., epidural steroid injections at various spinal levels, radiofrequency ablation, facet blocks, SI injections, intercoastal blocks) or other services (e.g., ketamine or lidocaine infusions)
- May perform minor procedures: trigger point injections, joint injections, occipital blocks, old ablation (Iovera), and Botox for headaches or chronic pain
- Use of ultrasound guidance for selected procedures
- Patient volume: 12 to 16 per day
- Visit durations: 60 minutes for new consultations, 30 minutes for established patients
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in pain management as an APRN with focus on med management, and comfortable hitting the ground running
- Comfortable working autonomously in pain management
- NH license or ability to obtain quickly via nursing compact license
