About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Assistant Corporate Secretary to play a pivotal role in leading the legal and governance framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical advice to the leadership team and Board of Directors on a range of matters, including corporate governance, SEC reporting, and shareholder issues. This role involves close collaboration with senior management and internal teams to manage legal entities, execute M&A activities, and ensure compliance with all securities and corporate regulations. The VP, Assistant Corporate Secretary will also be expected to build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be adept at working with a sense of urgency and accountability. Applicants for the VP, Assistant Corporate Secretary position at the company should have a Bar admission or equivalent, with at least 5 years' of experience in supporting SEC filings, corporate governance, and M&A transactions. The role requires extensive experience with publicly traded companies, corporate governance, and corporate entity matters, as well as a proven track record in managing a team, preferably across different geographies. The ideal candidate will have a professional command of the English language, be adept at working with a sense of urgency, and be committed to process improvement.
