Business Unit Overview: The Americas Institutional Business (AIB) is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with sophisticated institutional investors across the US, Canada and LatAm, AIB is focused on helping pensions, universities, non-profits, family offices, healthcare systems and other institutional investors meet their financial goals and serve their constituents and communities. We are comprised of teams of professionals with expertise spanning many functions working together to meet the unique needs of our clients including relationship management, marketing, sales, client service, and product development and management. Professionals within AIB work together to deliver a full range of asset management, risk management and advisory services supporting our clients’ investment objectives. Job Description: BlackRock’s Pensions team is a growing business, offering institutional clients access to global leading investment solutions across active, passive, alternatives, multi-asset, cash management and technology. This position offers the opportunity to join one of the world’s leading asset management firms and be an important part of future growth. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pension clients and prospects, acting as their primary point of contact with the firm. • Understand clients investment objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. • Identify and diligently pursue new investment opportunities through consultative dialogues with investors. Focus on strategic products for the group as well as mandates that will have the most commercial impact. • Work collaboratively with partners within BlackRock to meet clients’ needs and objectives. • Lead support staff on assigned accounts to service clients and implement sales strategy. • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the staff’s overall development. Qualifications: • 7+ years of established track record in institutional relationship management • Passion for the financial markets, deep investment knowledge and strong proficiency across a wide range of traditional and alternative Investment products • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including ability to clearly and concisely articulate market views, product and platform characteristics, as well as relay key client account information • Strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility with key stakeholders throughout the firm • Collaborative and cooperative approach to a team-based sales and service model • Ability to lead by example – high work product standard and strong work ethic • Undergraduate degree and relevant work experience. Advanced degree in finance or specialized financial designations such as CFA Charter preferred • Has, or is willing to obtain, the Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses Competencies

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$194,000.00 - USD$270,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$184,000.00 - USD$250,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
