We are looking for a Welder to join Temperature+ System Products, USA in Greenwood, Indiana to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products is one of the leading global suppliers of temperature measurement, temperature engineered solutions and system products.
What is the role about? This role is responsible for day-to-day operations of automatic and manual welding machines to accomplish high quality production requirements. Implements and executes operator preventative maintenance tasks to support machines. Completes production plan as provided by the Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Which tasks will you perform? Weld various components using manual, semi-automatic, and fully mechanized welding processes
Prepare orders for production by picking components according to bill of material, cutting raw materials to length as specified
Solder and assemble wires to electronic components
Utilize computer applications to perform automated testing of devices and close production orders upon completion
Buff/Polish assemblies to hygienic 3A certification
Perform visual inspection/testing and functional testing during fabrication processes
Perform and execute non-destructive testing in accordance with manufacturing standards and internal processes per customer requests
Maintain accurate inventory, cataloging adjustments, and scrap
Use production and software systems to look up or enter information that supports the area
Serve as backup to Fabrication Technician on specific processes
Assist with cross-training employees on production processes
All other duties as assigned.
What do we expect from you? Experience with TIG, MIG, or Plasma welding of stainless steel, steel, and/or Hastelloy
Ability to read and understand basic welding drawings, symbols, and specifications
Certified to ASME Section IX, preferred
Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
Able to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machines
Able to follow written and verbal directions
Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent professional training.
