What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Perform armed patrols throughout the assigned location, including both regular and random checks of the premises and perimeter. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed. Support the maintenance of order by helping to deter unauthorized or suspicious activities through a visible presence and professional conduct. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required. Participate in ongoing training and maintain necessary certifications for armed duties as required by Allied Universal and state regulations. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. An armed guard card or license is required. Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. A baton certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
