Security Professional - Distribution Access Gate
in
Carlisle, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Monitor and control access points to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and vendors with site-specific policies and procedures. Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with location guidelines and Allied Universal standards. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify irregularities. Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or access control duties. Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
