Staffmark is hiring a Logistics Support Specialist in Canal Winchester, OH! This is a dynamic, dual-role opportunity combining warehouse operations with administrative logistics support. Pay: $19-$21/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (may change to 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
As a Logistics Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records while also performing key warehouse duties. This includes operating forklifts, preparing shipments, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Update and manage inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Generate reports on stock levels, orders, and warehouse activities
Prepare bills of lading, shipping labels, and documentation
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments
Assist with audits, compliance checks, and process improvements
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
Load, unload, move, and stack materials as needed
Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance
Optimize warehouse space for efficiency and safety
Conduct cycle counts and support full inventory audits
Adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior warehouse or logistics experience required; administrative experience a plus
Certified to operate forklifts (or willing to become certified)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Bilingual abilities are a plus
