As an Allied Universal security professional assigned to an access control post at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and personnel. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including those related to access control for the location. Monitor and manage the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, verifying credentials and permissions according to location protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious conditions, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by location guidelines. Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel during incidents or drills as directed by Allied Universal management. Support additional security-related duties as assigned to help to maintain a secure environment at the location. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration. Possess a Guard Card or security-related license; preference will be given to candidates who currently hold this credential. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
