Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated shelter locations to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the premises, providing assistance and outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. Your role will be vital in supporting a caring culture and building positive relationships through strong teamwork and integrity, reflecting the values of Allied Universal. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Help to deter incidents and respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. Monitor entry and exit points to help maintain order within the location. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, residents, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed. Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to company and site-specific protocols. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior security-related experience. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid guard card or security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
