Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take ownership of accounting operations in a fast-paced, family-owned food manufacturing environment? Join our team as an Accounting Manager and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all AP/AR functions.

What You'll Do

• Overseeing all accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Managing vendor onboarding, grower payables, customer payments, and bank deposits.
• Handling crop pool accounting, grower contracts, and USDA documentation.
• Maintaining the general ledger, subledgers, and chart of accounts.
• Preparing and verifying financial reports including collections, account aging, quarterly and annual reporting, and Almond Board reporting.
• Partnering with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

What We're Looking For

• Education: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Years of experience may be substituted for degree.
• Experience: 2-3+ years in AP/AR, finance, or GL accounting roles.
• Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 (or similar accounting software), MS Excel, and inventory systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
