Manager - Accounting and Finance Solutions | CPA

A fast-growing consumerproducts and e-commerce company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its corporate accounting team in Los Angeles. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and managing a growing accounting team. The company offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where accounting plays an integral role in supporting both strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily general ledger accounting activities and lead the monthly close process.
• Ensure timely completion of reconciliations and journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Senior Accountants (domestic and offshore), fostering development and accountability.
• Support the Controller and senior finance leadership with process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrations and data-related projects.
• Assist with variance analysis, KPIs, and reporting on company performance metrics.
• Manage compliance with internal control requirements and support annual financial statement audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or large regional) and industry experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience managing teams and leading process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with NetSuite (multi-book) and advanced Excel skills required.
• Exposure to inventory or cost accounting (weighted average costing, product-based or subscription models).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• ERP implementation or system integration experience.
• Background in consumer products, retail, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.
• Experience with business intelligence or analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
