INTERN -
QUALITATIVE FRAUD ANALYST

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Contribute to Nintendo's Payment and Fraud team focused on human-centered data to detect and interpret anomalous activity Conduct qualitative analytics on flagged post-transaction cases to identify potential e-commerce trends and vulnerabilities Learn about different research methodologies on how to systematically analyze historical transactions to identify emerging patterns and develop new theoretical insights Formulate creative methods of protecting and improving the consumer payment experience Support operations and prevention workflows, including account investigations, linking suspicious activity across Nintendo consumer accounts and representing chargeback disputes to protect the Nintendo brand Highlight performance trends and visualize findings SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
3.0+ GPA Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2026 and June 2027 Pursuing a degree in Finance, Operations Research, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Management Science, Mathematics or related field Understanding of finance, fraud mitigation methodologies and risk assessment frameworks Detail-oriented, meticulous, and eager to bridge qualitative research with fraud prevention Analytical, problem-solver and keen on root cause analysis Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience with data visualization tools, Tableau preferred Legally authorized to work in the United States Able to work 40 hours a week throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June 15 - August 21 A completed Internship Questionnaire following application This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.
This internship includes a base pay rate of $25 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k). #LI-DNI
