Staffmark is hiring a Production Operator for a well-established, family-owned food manufacturing facility in Saint Martinville, LA. In this essential role, you'll help maintain the pickling process by preparing and monitoring brine solutions-ensuring quality and food safety every step of the way.

Pay Rate: $15.50/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare and mix brine solutions according to recipe and schedule

Monitor tank salinity, fluid levels, and temperatures

Load and unload product into brine tanks

Test samples and adjust solutions as needed

Accurately record batch data and measurements

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanks and workspace

Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns

Follow all food safety and workplace safety protocols

What We're Looking For:

Previous warehouse or machine operation experience required

Food manufacturing experience a plus

Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and safety guidelines

Basic math skills for measuring and adjusting solutions

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in wet, humid, cold conditions

Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
