Job Description A day in the life When the Auburn, AL (36832) facility winds down, you get started. As our Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist on the 3rd shift, you’ll keep production humming by preventing problems before they start and jumping on issues the moment they appear. This full-time role pays $28.96 per hour and puts you at the center of equipment reliability, safety, and uptime. What your night looks like You’ll begin with a walkthrough, review maintenance logs, and prioritize planned inspections. Throughout the night, you’ll diagnose mechanical faults, execute repairs, document your work, and coordinate with teammates to ensure a safe, efficient environment. You’ll also lend a hand installing new machinery and systems when needed—and you never cut corners on safety. Core responsibilities
Execute routine service, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on facility machinery and equipment. Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; troubleshoot swiftly and accurately. Perform scheduled inspections to catch and correct issues before they escalate. Record maintenance activities, parts used, and repair outcomes with clear documentation. Partner with peers and leadership to promote a safe, organized, and efficient workplace. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and related systems. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times. What you’ll bring
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or closely related role. Working knowledge of mechanical assemblies, electrical circuits, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics. Sharp troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail. Comfort working independently as well as on a team. Willingness to work the 3rd shift and adjust hours if needed. Technical strengths we value
