POSITION OVERVIEW This role bridges storytelling and strategy — leading Burn’s creative vision, championing authenticity, and ensuring every piece of content, campaign, and partnership drives measurable impact.
This leader directs strategy for Burn Creative (in-house creative agency), Public Relations, the Brand Champion (influencer) Program, and Production (Burn On Demand + Burn Podcast), ensuring every story, campaign, and partnership strengthens brand equity and drives measurable results.
The Brand Director shapes the identity and narrative of the Burn Brands portfolio — including Burn Boot Camp, Burn Nutrition, Burn On Demand, Burn Activewear, Kids Camp, and future extensions — ensuring each sub-brand ladders up to a cohesive mission.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role partners closely with the Performance Marketing vertical and cross-functional teams (Operations, Franchise Development, IT, Product, and Finance) to connect brand storytelling to business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Brand Leadership & Strategy
Lead the Brand vertical and partner with Performance Marketing to align strategy across the full funnel. Direct strategy for Burn Creative, PR, Brand Champion Program, and Production, ensuring all efforts ladder up to overarching brand and business objectives.
Creative Direction & Burn Creative Oversight
Lead Burn Creative, Burn Brands’ in-house creative agency, responsible for concepting and producing all digital, social, print, video, and experiential assets. Maintain creative excellence and visual consistency across all campaigns, partnerships, and communications. Partner with Performance Marketing to ensure storytelling is strategically optimized and performance-driven.
Brand Champion Program
Direct the strategy and activations of the Brand Champion Program, overseeing athlete, celebrity, brand and community influencer relationships. Align Brand Champion content and campaigns with Burn’s mission, themes, and marketing calendar. Oversee contracts, deliverables, and performance tracking to ensure ROI and authenticity across all collaborations.
Public Relations & Earned Media
Oversee PR and earned media strategy, managing agency partnerships to drive awareness and credibility at national and local levels. Shape Burn’s brand narrative through media relations, thought leadership, and Franchise Partner storytelling. Partner with executive leadership to develop visibility strategies for our founders, Franchise Partners, and key brand moments.
Production: Burn On Demand & Burn Podcast
Lead the Production arm, overseeing Burn On Demand (BOD) and the Burn Podcast to ensure both platforms reflect Burn’s tone, content strategy, and storytelling priorities. Use engagement and performance insights to evolve programming and maximize impact.
Performance Integration & Insights
Partner with Performance Marketing to connect creative storytelling with measurable ROI. Use analytics and audience insights to inform campaign evolution, messaging, and creative strategy.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team across brand, creative, PR, and production. Foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the Brand vertical.
Franchise & System Support
Provide brand-aligned creative, PR, and content to empower Franchise Partners. Support system events (Athlete Games, Summit, PR activations) with cohesive storytelling and brand presence.

7–10 years of progressive experience in brand, creative, or marketing leadership (consumer, lifestyle, or franchise industries preferred) 3+ years leading multidisciplinary teams (creative, PR, or content production) Agency experience strongly preferred, with proven ability to lead both in-house and external creative partners Deep understanding of integrated brand and performance marketing principles Strong creative direction, storytelling, and leadership abilities Data-driven mindset with proven ability to translate insights into creative action Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Passion for fitness, health, and community Franchising experience a plus Occasional travel as needed,
