Sampson Regional Medical Center
is hiring a Mammography Technologist to join the Radiology team!
Description: The Mammography Technologist is a registered professional who provides health care related imaging services to patients of a broad range of ages through the use of Mammography Radiological equipment. These images assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes. The Mammography Technologist duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center's policies and procedures and current professional standards. Additionally, the Mammography Technologist will assist with MQSA, ACR accreditation, Diagnostic Radiology, perform Stereotactic exams and Dexa scans as needed.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Currently ARRT registered in Radiography. Currently ARRT registered in Mammography. General knowledge of other imaging modalities. BLS certification required.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Requires rotating weekends and holidays. May be required to work other hours for the effective operation of the department.
