Responsibilities

All Novant Health team members are responsible for fostering a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm".
Hours: 36 hour position, Primarily inpatient coverage at Forsyth Medical Center, scheduled 7am-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with a variable third weekday 7am-7pm. Role will include providing acute care coverage in conjunction with existing APP and MD team. In the future, there may be occasions in the future where the third day coverage would be requested in our Ambulatory office in Winston Salem.
Supporting Locations: Forsyth Medical Center
Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
Experience: Experienced APPs and New Graduates considered.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required. ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Will receive on-the-job training on administering cardiac stress testing.
