You’ll handle substantive cases from the outset, shaping litigation strategy, managing discovery, and preparing for trial—with the backing of a seasoned team. Key Responsibilities
Own your docket from day one Collaborate with partners on strategy, motions, and trial prep Draft and argue dispositive motions, complex pleadings, and Daubert challenges Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and prepare privilege logs Represent clients in state and federal courts—argue motions, assist at trial, and negotiate resolutions Leverage AI tools, Westlaw, and O’Connor’s to streamline litigation workflows Contribute to firm development through marketing, CLE, and outreach Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar 1–4 years of civil litigation experience, including written discovery Experience taking or defending at least two depositions Familiarity with Texas civil procedure and courtroom practice Tech proficiency (Casepeer, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat) and interest in AI Preferred
Background in commercial litigation Trial or courtroom experience (first or second chair) Strong communication, initiative, and leadership potential Entrepreneurial mindset or business development interest Benefits
Compensation DOE: $100,000–$150,000 base Performance-based bonuses and origination incentives Hybrid schedule: typically 2–3 in-office days per week Relocation assistance available Profit-sharing opportunities CLE stipend, bar dues, and professional memberships Paid time off and firm holidays Parking or transit reimbursement Retirement plan eligibility after applicable period Why Join Us?
