We are seeking an
Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer
in our
Broomfield, CO
location.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply mechanical design tools such as Onshape and Ansys to rapidly design and deliver cryogenic systems that meet the evolving needs of customers, ranging from prototypes to commercial products
Utilize Onshape and Arena PLM software tools to manage design releases and product documentation
Work hands on to build and validate your prototypes and deliver commercial systems
Work closely with a small, cross functional design team to rapidly conceptualize, validate and deliver high reliability cryogenics systems
Work within a fast-paced environment to turn concepts into prototype designs & iterate on these designs based on lab test results
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree minimum
Minimum 5+ years of mechanical design experience
Minimum 1+ years of experience performing thermal modeling and analysis
Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
Broad understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles, with practical experience applying this knowledge to real-world engineering challenges
Experience designing, building and operating cryogenic, vacuum and electro‑mechanical systems
Experience with thermal and vibrational modeling and using this analysis to inform design decisions
Experience working hands on to build and validate your prototypes and system designs
Experience with mechanical inspection and working with suppliers on complex mechanical procurement and subcontracts
Experience with PLM/PDM to manage design releases and engineering change orders ensuring documentation compliance throughout the product development lifecycle.
$114,000 - $143,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits: Non‑Incentive Eligible
The pay range for this role is $114,000 – $143,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
