Job Description

The Postdoctoral Scholar performs and conducts research in cardiovascular and neuronal research in the Department of Physiology. Responsibilities

Performs critical experiments studying the disruption of calcium homeostasis in the setting of cardiac and neuronal damage. Studies underlying molecular signaling. Utilizes approaches including the extensive use of mouse models, molecular biology and biochemistry, immunofluorescence, super-resolution microscopy, calcium imaging, and surgical procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

PhD or MD in Physiology or a related field of study. Experience in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry fields related to basic and translational cardiac and neurovascular metabolic disorders. Previous research experience in cardiovascular and neurological sciences and animal models of disease is highly desirable. Apply Now Job Info
