A wealth management firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Senior Accountant. This individual will assist the Controller with accurate and timely accounting functions.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and related footnotes

Participate in the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations

Prepare and maintain journal entries

Perform monthly bank reconciliations

Respond to inquiries from upper management regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus

4+ years of accounting experience

Advanced MS Excel experience

Large ERP systems experience
