ABOUT THE JOB We're looking for an experienced and effective Talent Acquisition Partner to help us build exceptional teams and drive our hiring success. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR leaders, and cross-functional teams to identify top talent, create engaging candidate experiences, and support workforce planning initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Targeted Talent Acquisition

Support and Lead end-to-end recruitment for professional roles across construction disciplines (e.g., project management, field operations, estimating, engineering).

Partner with business leaders to understand workforce plans, project timelines, and evolving talent needs.

Act as subject matter expert (SME) by supporting the team, sharing insights on best recruiting practices, and industry specific practices.

Understanding of manpower planning.

Sourcing & Candidate Engagement

Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to build pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates, trade professionals, and industry networks.

Represent the company at networking events, career fairs, and industry conferences to promote employer brand and attract top talent.

Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and operational leaders to ensure alignment of role requirements and hiring strategies.

Work with hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate evaluation, and compliance.

Partner with marketing to enhance employer brand visibility in the construction industry.

Support onboarding and transition planning for key hires.

Process Optimization & Reporting

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.

Track, analysis, and report key recruiting metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to hiring and candidate data.

In addition to your passion and purpose, to be successful in this Talent Acquisition Partner role, you will possess the following :

Technical & Industry Knowledge

Deep understanding of construction job families (e.g., project managers, estimators, field operations, engineers).

Familiarity with union / non-union labor environments, project-based hiring, and skilled sourcing.

Strong knowledge of ATS platforms and sourcing tools.

Strategic & Analytical Skills

Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and senior-level roles.

Experience using recruiting metrics and data to drive decisions and improve processes.

Knowledge of labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and DEI best practices.

Soft Skills & Leadership

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to mentor junior recruiters and influence cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience supporting multiple business units or operating companies (OpCos).

Background

Degree in HR, Business, or related fields are great but not required.

5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2-3 years in construction, general contracting, or AEC industries.

Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers on workforce planning and talent strategy.

Experience with advanced sourcing techniques and talent market intelligence.

Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple searches and stakeholders simultaneously.

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
