Role Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer – SRE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in systems administration, cloud computing, and infrastructure as code, with a particular focus on solution engineering/site reliability. This role will involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance our security posture and streamline processes through automation.
Opportunity
Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Develop and implement automation for provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and incident response using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Monitor system reliability, capacity, and performance; proactively detect and address issues before they impact users.
Respond to production incidents, participate in on‑call rotations, and lead post‑incident reviews to drive root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
Collaborate with software engineering and security teams to ensure new services and features are production‑ready and meet reliability standards.
Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations; automate manual processes to reduce toil.
Document operational processes and system architectures to ensure knowledge sharing and repeatability.
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system reliability, security, and efficiency.
What You Need
Bachelor degree in business or equivalent work experience.
10 years of previous program leadership and/or relevant consulting experience.
Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in program management framework, knowledge groups & life cycle.
5+ years’ experience in driving large scale data center consolidation efforts.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with matrix management of cross‑functional processes and teams.
Proficient with Project Management tools.
Compensation Range $86,000‑$129,000
Benefits Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year, and have access to 401(k) with employer matching.
