Security Professional - Patrol
in
Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, healthcare, commercial real estate, and education. You will monitor and patrol a vibrant public location dedicated to cultural experiences, deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. Your roles include responding to situations as needed, contributing to a welcoming environment, and ensuring a visible security presence. This position requires a valid driver’s license and may involve driving responsibilities in addition to patrol duties.

Wed 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Fri 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures within cultural institution environments.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in accordance with established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, offering assistance as directed.
Monitor visitor activity and provide information or assistance to create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security awareness.
What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
