ePayPolicy, a leading provider of accounts receivable (“AR”), accounts payable (“AP”) and integrated payment solutions for the insurance industry. The company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. This leader will be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, building a scalable internal finance and accounting organization, and enabling data-driven decision-making as ePayPolicy continues to grow.
The ideal candidate is a proven finance leader who has successfully led finance organizations through growth and scaling in an expansion-stage business. This individual must combine strategic insight with operational discipline, possess deep experience across finance, accounting, compliance, and legal, and bring a hands‑on approach to building infrastructure and teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the CEO and Board, helping shape the company strategy, priorities, and resource allocation.
Develop a deep understanding of ePay’s business model, customer base, and growth drivers to inform financial and strategic decision‑making.
Design and build a best‑in‑class finance organization aligned with ePay’s strategic objectives and growth trajectory. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and performance.
Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Partner closely with the executive team to evaluate growth initiatives, including new products, market expansion, and customer acquisition strategies, through rigorous financial analysis and forecasting.
Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to create visibility into business performance and guide decision‑making.
Build a robust analytics framework to track KPIs related to ARR growth, customer acquisition, retention, and product adoption.
Establish a cadence of financial reporting and performance review that aligns leadership and the board on business health and progress towards strategic goals.
Lead all financial communications with the Board of Directors, including performance updates, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
Manage banking and external financing relationships, ensuring strong partnerships and optimal capital structure.
Support M&A and capital markets activities as appropriate.
Qualifications
Proven track record as CFO in a software or tech‑enabled service business with, ideally, experience in fintech, payments or insurance.
Experience as CFO within a private equity backed business is preferred.
Demonstrated success scaling businesses and managing full P&L accountability in high‑growth environments.
Experience building and transforming finance and accounting organizations, including internalizing outsourced functions.
Deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and strategic finance.
Experience overseeing compliance, risk, and legal functions preferred.
Credibility with Boards of Directors, private equity sponsors and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear strategic insights.
Collaborative, hands‑on, and execution oriented.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
