Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Role Scope This opportunity includes inpatient and outpatient complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures. The successful candidate will provide pre‑ and post‑care for this subspecialty of cardiology. Populations include ACS, CHF, PAD, TAVR, etc. The AP will engage in independent decision making, manage procedure‑related issues and work with all members of the patient care team. The successful candidate will collaborate with consultants and specialists to provide exceptional patient‑centered care.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
National Board Certification, or eligible to be certified, as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred
Cardiology experience strongly preferred
