EMI Services is excited to announce that we are seeking to hire a qualified Plumber I to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibilities of this position include the essential tasks of maintaining and upgrading plumbing equipment, piping systems, and related components to ensure their optimal functionality and safety. This role involves not only the execution of corrective maintenance to promptly address and resolve plumbing issues but also the implementation of preventative maintenance strategies aimed at reducing the likelihood of future problems and extending the lifespan of our plumbing infrastructure. Our ideal candidate for the Plumber I position will possess the necessary qualifications and certifications, being licensed in specialized areas such as pipefitting, steam fitting, or sprinkler systems.
$48.28 / hr. plus employer paid health benefits and pension!
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and upgrade plumbing equipment
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all plumbing related equipment
Install and / or repair various plumbing equipment such as water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Essential Skills
Thorough knowledge of theory and methods, materials, tools, equipment and systems used in the trade
Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and regulations pertaining to the trade
Knowledge of building architectural / structural elements including; alterations and repairs
Must be able to read and understand blueprints as appropriate to trade
Adaptable and flexible in work situations
Prioritizes tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner
PRACTICES WORKPLACE SAFETY in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies - Including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
