The role focuses on Core Java and Spring-based backend development, GraphQL API integration, and React/Next.js front-end component development for enterprise‑scale media applications.
This is a hands‑on full stack developer role ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in Java, API architecture, and front‑end technologies, working in a hybrid model (3 days on site).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Core Java and Spring Framework based backend services.
Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs for scalable and efficient data access.
Build and maintain React / Next.js front‑end components and pages.
Work closely with product and design teams to deliver high‑quality features.
Optimize performance and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.
Collaborate across cross‑functional teams for technical problem‑solving.
Integrate with JSON transformation tools (JOLT) and XML transformations (XSLT) where applicable.
Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Must‑Have Requirements
10–17 years of overall software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Framework.
Experience working with GraphQL.
Hands‑on expertise in React and Next.js for component and page building.
Must currently reside in Englewood, New Jersey and be available for 3 days on site per week.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proven job stability – long‑term tenures preferred.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience in the Media or Entertainment domain.
Familiarity with JOLT (JSON‑to‑JSON) and XSLT for data transformation.
Exposure to microservices or event‑driven architecture.
Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration and cloud‑based deployments.
