Work for the U.S. Department of Commerce within the public sector, spearheading technology solutions and driving adoption of Google Cloud Platform services.
Base pay range $114,000.00/yr - $169,000.00/yr
Preferred working locations:
Reston, VA, USA; Washington D.C., DC, USA .
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of quota‑carrying sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
Experience engaging with accounts, promoting a portfolio of products at C-level.
Experience selling enterprise software into the federal government.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time, as required.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with large federal research, defense, or highly-regulated departments and agencies.
Experience managing a hyper‑growth enterprise software sales portfolio across large, complex accounts.
Experience leading sales strategy for artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
Experience working with and managing partners on complex implementation projects including global system integrators, cloud service providers, and independent software vendors.
Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory the existing technology estate, define implementation plans, and build business cases for accelerated cloud adoption and growth.

Responsibilities
Build and deepen executive relationships across the enterprise to influence the department's long‑term technology and business decisions and add value as a trusted advisor.
Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross‑functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners to maximize business impact within enterprise customers.
Understand the customer technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and overall business landscape.
Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
