Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Lunar Permanence

role at

Blue Origin .

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.

About the Role At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low‑cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight.

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

We are looking for an experienced embedded software engineer that will be responsible for designing, implementing and verifying embedded software for mission‑critical spaceflight systems working directly with RF hardware engineers. This is a hardware‑heavy software role; the candidate should be comfortable reading hardware datasheets, understanding register maps, making performance trade‑offs, and have hands‑on lab debugging skills. You will collaborate with cross‑functional, multidisciplinary teams and often work on multiple embedded software efforts simultaneously.
