About the Department Franklin Templeton’s Digital Assets Technology team builds secure, scalable solutions for tokenizing mutual fund shares using blockchain. Our work enables global, 24/7 trading and supports platforms for retail and institutional investors, along with internal tools for customer support. We collaborate across teams to enhance our platform and expand internationally.
Core Responsibilities
You will design and implement solutions for existing applications.
You will streamline workflows through user consultation.
You will assist with the requirements, design, and solutioning of interfaces and features.
You will support users by resolving technical issues.
You will collaborate with team members to solve problems.
You will contribute to technical meetings and solution planning.
Strategic Responsibilities
You will clarify business requirements with project teams.
You will understand application modules and data models.
You will coordinate and document application changes.
You will prepare and execute system tests.
You will support user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
You will generate reports on application metrics.
Team & Collaboration
You will work with architects and system engineers on development projects.
You will partner with key resources to ensure test coverage.
You will collaborate with product, support, and UX teams.
You will refine requirements with key project stakeholders.
You will design scalable, high-performance software components.
Experience, Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2–4 years in systems analysis or technical projects.
Experience with small-mid scale IT projects.
Familiarity with system development lifecycles, particularly agile methodologies.
Experience with system testing.
Financial services or mutual fund experience is preferred.
Transfer Agent or record keeping system knowledge or experience is preferred.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Knowledge of blockchain, tokenized funds, and digital assets is a plus.
Understanding of desktop, web, client/server, and mainframe systems.
Awareness of industry standards and platform architecture.
Experience with SQL queries is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong communication and time management.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a global team.
Flexibility in dynamic environments.
Work Schedule & Location Ability to work in the Pacific/Mountain time zones; West Coast residency preferred.
