Required Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 year's experience as a Restaurant Manager required. The Ideal candidate will have a solid background in Food and Beverage with upscale dining experience and have the ability to oversee multiple outlets.
Must be at least 18 years old (21+ if driving a licensed Resort vehicle).
Food Handler and TABC Certification required.
Proven background in food and beverage management, particularly in upscale dining settings.
Ability to oversee multiple outlets effectively.
Valid driver's license and eligibility to meet driver insurability requirements set by the insurance carrier.
Proficient in computer usage, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and service operations.
Familiarity with Agilisys software is a plus, but not required.
Encourage OSHA Hazard Communication Standard training and certification.
General Duties
Deliver outstanding customer service to guests and members, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Uphold and maintain the professional image of Horseshoe Bay Resort.
Develop and update training materials and manuals.
Implement training standards, conduct staff training, and support ongoing staff development.
Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and payroll management.
Drive sales growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to maximize revenue.
Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure product availability.
Interview, hire, and enforce company policies for staff performance, including discipline when necessary.
Assist with organizing and overseeing grill operations, bar services, golf events, and beverage cart management.
