Salary Amount or Range:
Up to $120k-$130k D.O.E. (hourly and overtime hourly rates) plus full benefits and 401k, paid sick days and holidays.

Description A lovely, busy, and professional family in San Francisco is seeking a reliable and experienced ROTA nanny to join their team. Must have experience working in San Francisco. The family has a 6-month-old and two early elementary-aged children. As a member of a fully staffed household team, this person will need to be adaptable, collaborative, and discreet. The best person for them is an energetic go-getter, dependable, with attention to detail and a proactive approach. Someone who genuinely loves being a nanny and is experienced with infants as well as older children.
Schedule: Week on/week off 7‑day rotation. Not 24/7 hours, nanny goes home each evening (with a few exceptions for parent travel), working no more than 80 hours × 26 weeks per year. 4‑6 weeks of travel a year required.
Experience Requirements
At least 5 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
A four‑year college degree or educational courses/training is strongly preferred
Fluency in English
Qualifications
Covid vaccinated
Current on vaccines including the annual flu shot, Tdap and TB
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (household car provided)
Valid passport and domestic and international travel‑ready; must be willing and flexible to travel
Recent infant‑care experience
Dependability, punctuality, and flexibility are essential in this role, providing consistent and reliable care, and ability to adapt to schedule changes
Seeking someone with high energy and a go‑getter
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are must‑haves
Someone who is tidy and organized by nature and who enjoys keeping the common areas neat and orderly
Can make at least a long‑term commitment
Responsibilities
Full charge childcare
Child‑related housekeeping: dishes, children’s laundry, meal preparation, cleaning/organizing bedrooms, play areas, and toys.
Assist with light household chores (note the family has FT housekeeper and chef)
Assist with the organization of the children’s rooms, closets, sports items and toys, and packing/unpacking for travel
Plan and engage in age‑appropriate activities to promote development
