Instrument Control Panel Technician

Hunt Electric, Inc. and Instrument Control Center (ICC) of Salt Lake City, UT are searching for a full‑time Panel Technician to join our Instrument Control Division. The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves production of instrument control panels. Attention to detail and following step‑by‑step instructions will lead to a successful panel build out.
Major Duties
Build industrial control panels.
Read schematics and diagrams for installation of parts, wires, and components.
Test and troubleshoot using a meter for accuracy.
Apply UL 508A standards and other industry standards.
Identify and select proper wire types and sizes.
Apply knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical fundamentals.
Maintain appropriate work appearance (work pants without tears, work boots).
Perform basic math and use hand tools accurately.
Route wires neatly.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, and organized.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50–100 lb.
Availability to work overtime and/or weekends when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in basic math (algebra), hand tools, measurement tools, and computer use.
Willingness to meet deadlines and be punctual, dependable.
