Desktop Engineer - Windows Desktop Engineer Specialist Our client is looking for an experienced Windows Desktop Engineer Specialist to join their team within the financial services sector. This role is responsible for the design, deployment, optimization, and support of Windows desktop environments across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will deliver a secure, reliable, and high‑performance end‑user computing experience, tailored to meet the needs of front‑office, middle‑office, and back‑office financial professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain Windows desktop environments.

Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support.

Implement secure configurations and enforce compliance with frameworks such as PCI‑DSS, NCUA.

Package and distribute applications (MSI/App‑V), manage patches and updates.

Automate processes using PowerShell scripting.

Work with virtualization technologies (Citrix, VDI, AVD, WIN365) and collaboration platforms (M365, Teams, SharePoint).

Required Skills and Qualifications

Expert knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy.

Strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Autopilot.

Proficiency in application packaging (MSI/App‑V), software distribution, patch management.

PowerShell scripting and automation proficiency.

Experience with desktop virtualization (Citrix, VDI, AVD, WIN365) and collaboration platforms (M365, Teams, SharePoint).

Understanding of security hardening, compliance frameworks (e.g., NCUA, PCI‑DSS), and data protection in financial environments.

Experience with financial services applications is a strong plus.

Experience Level Expert Level

Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
